Grew up in Bronx NY listening to mostly pop radio stations and the Country music radio my dad always listened to. Learned to play Beatle songs first and then on to all other styles of guitarists like The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Jorma Kaukonen, Carlos Santana, Jaco Pastorias, Weather Report, Return to Forever, Frank Zappa, etc...Studied Jazz improv beginning at about age 26. Django Reinhardt became a favorite as did John Coltrane and Charlie Parker. Love teaching music to people of all backgrounds and ages.
